On Wednesday 13 April 2022, H.E. Mr Sakaria KONE had the honour to present his Letters of Credence to H.E. Mr Prithvirajsing ROOPUN, President of the Republic of Mauritius.
During the audience granted to him by the President of the Republic of Mauritius, the new Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire conveyed the warm and fraternal greetings of his Ivorian counterpart as well as his wish to see bilateral relations between Côte d'Ivoire and Mauritius strengthened.
President ROOPUN welcomed the establishment of cooperation relations between the two countries since 2014 and wished to see the signing of various draft agreements between the two countries.
The Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire was also received in audience by Mr Praving Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister of Mauritius. The latter welcomed the economic development of our country under the leadership of His Excellency Alassane OUATTARA. He pledged to strengthen economic relations and encouraged exchanges between the countries in the field of tourism, training, ICTs, agricultural transformation, animal and fishery resources and investments.
